Take M56 following signs for Manchester (A5103)

Look out for a sign which says "motorway ends in half a mile". Shortly after this, move to the left lane, take the slip road to Sale Moor and Northenden, signed B5166.

Keep in right hand lane of slip road. At traffic lights, the road turns sharp right under the bridge, passing the AIRPORT HOTEL on your left.

Pass through Northenden shopping area. Keep straight on through the shops, past Northenden Golf Club, Over the River Mersey.

Pass the Britannia Hotel on your left, then go through 2 major sets of traffic lights.

Shortly after the second set of traffic lights, Calderbank Medical Chambers can be seen on you right at the corner of Sandileigh avenue and Palatine road.

Take the M60 and follow signs for Manchester Airport. (There have been changes to signs on the Manchester outer ring road-it is now called the M60)

Move to the left lane and exit the M60 at Junction 5. The sign reads A5103, M56 Airport and Chester, and M6 Birmingham. Stay on the inside lane and take the first exit from the A5103.

At the end of the slip road, turn left at traffic lights at the AIRPORT HOTEL onto Palatine road (B5166 becomes B5167).

Pass through Northenden shopping area. Keep straight on through the shops, past Northenden Golf Club, Over the River Mersey.
